3.5.3 A/D Converter Card Function Calls
int rn_anaInConfig(int handle, int channel,
int opmode, int gaincode, int reserved);
Configures each analog input channel to the desired operation at the desired gain. Once all channels have
been set to single-ended voltages, differential voltages, or current, use rn_anaIn() , rn_anaIn-
Volts() , rn_anaInmAmps() , or rn_anaInDiff() to read an A/D converter channel.
PARAMETERS
handle is an address index to device information. Use rn_device() or rn_find() to estab-
lish the handle.
channel is the analog input channel number (0 to 7) corresponding to AIN0–AIN7

opmode is the mode of operation for the specified channel. Use one of the following macros to set the
mode for the channel being configured.
RNSINGLE —single-ended input line, background sampling enabled
RNDIFF —differential input line, background sampling enabled
RNmAMP —4–20 mA input line, background sampling enabled
